Loan facilities are available for medium to large scale agro-dealers who have clear and demonstrable dealings with small scale holder farmers in the field of food security [not tobacco or cotton farmers or dealers]. To qualify, the agro-dealers must:
(a) Have a capital level between $10k and $2 million
(b) Have annual turnover between $30 000.00 and $ 5 000 000.00
(c) Employ from 5 to 20 people or more
(d) Operate a fully registered company/ companies
(e) Have security that is unencumbered and in order.
(f) Be prepared to instantly open accounts with the funding institution.
